How can I prevent online videos from freezing as soon as I switch them to full-screen?
This is probably due to the enabled hardware acceleration of the Adobe Flash Player. Switch off this function in the Player's settings.

Why is the display quality of the video signal on the receiver device poor?
This may be due to a weak wireless transmission. As a test, change the position and distance between the transmitting computer and the receiver device. You can also check the transmission quality in the Vianect® AIR Manager.

Why is the transmission of a movie interrupted when I move my laptop?
The cause may be a hard drive safety function: If the computer is moved quickly, the write/read heads are disabled as a precaution. Switch off this function or, if possible, decrease its sensitivity.

When I want to change the channel of the Vianect® AIR TV, a message appears saying that it is already occupied. What could cause this?
Not all channels are available for wireless transmission in all countries, since they may be subject to restrictions of public law. The cause may also be interference from other transmitters. As an alternative, try other channels. If that does not help, close the message, disconnect the Vianect® transmitter from the computer and then reconnect it. Then try changing the channel again.

Why can I see a picture, but hear no sound (or hear sound only from the speaker of the transmitting computer)?
Maybe the speakers are not correctly connected to the 3.5 mm audio socket of the Vianect® receiver. Check the cable connection and power supply of the speakers. Keep in mind also that the sound on the speakers may be at a quiet setting.

What does the red Vianect® icon in the toolbar (Windows) or menu bar (Mac) indicate? How can I fix the problem?
The Vianect® transmitter cannot establish a connection to the receiver. By first right-clicking (Vianect AIR Manager Connections entry) on the icon, check whether the desired receiver station appears at all in the list of Vianect AIR Managers. If this is not the case, or if no green icon appears beside the desired station, review the following points: First check whether the Vianect® receiver station is connected to the mains supply via the mains adapter. If this is the case, while the error persists, disconnect the TV adapter from the receiver briefly and then reconnect it. The cause can also be exceeding the range. To remedy this problem, change the position and distance of the Vianect® transmitter to the receiver.

Why doesn't a picture appear on my receiver device and why isn't the icon for the removed screen displayed on my transmitting computer?
This may be due to one of the cable connections on the receiver side. Check whether the Vianect® receiver is correctly connected to the screen and the correct socket (HDMI or VGA) was selected. You may have to switch to the correct video input on the receiver device. If that does not help, make sure that the screen and the Vianect® receiver are connected to the mains supply. Finally, it may also be the case that your receiver device does not support the desired resolution. In this case, select a lower screen resolution on the transmitting computer for transmission with Vianect® AIR TV.

What can I do if the icon of the AIR TV DisplayLink Manager does not appear in the toolbar (Windows) or menu bar (Mac)?
Disconnect the Vianect® AIR TV receiver from the mains supply briefly and then reconnect it. If the icon still does not appear, you can also pull out the Vianect® transmitter from the computer briefly and then plug it back in. Alternatively, you can also restart the computer to establish a new wireless connection between the Vianect® transmitter and receiver.

Why does the grey icon appear in the toolbar (Windows) or menu bar (Mac), even though the Vianect® transmitter is connected to the computer?
The adapter is not detected. Disconnect the transmitter from the computer for a moment and then reconnect it. If that does not help, exit the Vianect® AIR Manager and then restart it. If that still doesn't work, disconnect the Vianect® transmitter from the computer, restart it and then reconnect the adapter.
